Your title can make or break your auction - not only does it contain the keywords people search for, but the wording of your title can result in people clicking through to read your auction or not.
These are some basic rules for writing your titles
- NEVER WRITE IN ALL CAPS. This makes your auction title too difficult to read, even though people believe it actually attracts attention.
- Include brand names in your title. If you are selling something Gymboree, include the name (as well as the line name) in your title.
- If it is clothing and is new, be sure to include NWT or NEW in the title
- Don't go overboard with !!!! and **** characters.
- Do not keyword stuff your titles - this can result in your auction being ended, or your account receiving a warning.
